Our contemporary home sits atop 36 acres with breathtaking views of the hills and valleys. It sits back from the road by 800 feet and offers complete privacy.
Watching the sun set in the evenings, observing the star filled sky at night, backyard picnics and campfires, wine on the deck at the end of the day, playing games into the night with family and friends, gourmet dinners with your special person, cozy gatherings and great conversations in the open living space, the list goes on and on. This is the magic of our Ithaca home.
The kitchen is clean and well thought out. Quartz counter tops, stainless appliances and all the necessary tools and equipment needed for either soup and a sandwich or a complete gourmet meal. The dining nook comfortably seats 6 people (there is an extra table and four chairs disguised as an entrance table, if needed).
There is a gas fireplace and a large screen, smart TV in the living room. A large spa tub in the bathroom. The primary bedroom has a king size bed with large windows overlooking the amazing view. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a beautiful portable crib with an extra comfy mattress. The loft (Kids favorite part of the house) has two twin beds and a smart TV. The home has strong internet service.
I supply all towels and linens as well as paper products so there is no need to bring your own.
Location wise…the home is 6 miles to downtown Ithaca, 5 miles to Ithaca College, and 8 miles from Cornell University. We are 60 miles to Syracuse University and 42 miles from Binghamton University (in case you are checking out colleges and universities).
There are three state parks in the area including Taughannock Falls, Robert H. Treman, and Buttermilk Falls. They all offer swimming during the summer (Either waterfall or lake swimming), as well as great hiking. The Finger Lakes Trail is adjacent to our property . There are bike trails throughout the area. Great skiing both cross country (on our property) and downhill close by. There are lots of great restaurants, wineries, breweries, and museums (Johnson Museum of Art, Museum of the Earth (dinosaurs), and a hands-on science center (Ithaca Sciencenter). Do not miss the famous Ithaca Farmers Market.

Located in Ithaca, this vacation home is in the city center and on a lake. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Buttermilk Falls State Park and Cayuga Lake. Puddledockers and EcoVillage at Ithaca are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
