Exclusive villa with private swimming pool just a few kilometres from Trapani, an elegant and refined town, renowned for its beautiful historic centre with its cafés, restaurants, boutiques, late bars and international tourism. Surrounded by large terraces with breathtaking views over the countryside, from Erice to the salt pans and across the sea to the Egadi islands, Corte del Sale resides among lush gardens with olive and lemon trees and exotic Mediterranean plants. Restored according to tradition, the property evokes the aristocratic elegance of old Sicily. The light, refined interior, with all mod cons, is furnished with antiques and stylishly decorated to create a warm, cosy atmosphere. On the ground floor the living area includes a spacious living room, a study, a dining room, a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The first floor contains the night area with a twin and two double bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, a single bedroom and a further bathroom. An internal staircase leads up from the small sitting room on this level to another bedroom with a French bed (120cm). Corte del Sale is ideal for families or groups of friends in search of a relaxing holiday but with the chance to explore the charms of the area. The towns of Erice, Marsala and Trapani (with ferries for the Egadi islands) are a short drive away, as are the island of Mozia, the ancient salt pans with their characteristic windmills, the beaches of Marsala and San Vito Lo Capo, the Zingaro and the Stagnone nature reserves and the temples of Segesta and Selinunte.
