Dunkerron is a luxury self catering manor in a scenic woodland surrounding a short distance outside Kemnare town. Nestling quietly on the shores of Kenmare Bay, Dunkerron also features the ruins of an old Irish castle, beautiful mountain views.
Dunkerron is situated on a 55 acre estate which guests are always encouraged to explore. The property also features a private bay about 20 minutes walk along our woodland path from the house. The deck overlooking the bay is an ideal location for relaxing picnics.
The house itself has seven luxurious bedrooms, all upstairs, and each one with an en-suite bathroom. Each bathroom is equipped with a power shower. Downstairs, the house boasts a modern, well equipped kitchen, a playroom (with a table tennis and a pool table), and a beautiful conservatory. The house also has a vestibule, a living room and a dining room with a large table which seats up to 16, each of which can be heated by our log fires.
While the house is normally rented on a self catered basis, catering services are available locally.
Please note that we can only accept Friday-Friday bookings in June, July and August due to availability of cleaning staff.
Located in Kenmare, this vacation home is in the mountains and by the sea. Kenmare Golf Club and Ring of Kerry Golf and Country Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Killarney National Park and Upper Lake.
