You will experience endless views from this Cabin on a Hill–perfect for that peace of mind you've been looking for. This roomy, three story home has plenty of space for everyone to sit and relax and enjoy the mountain scenery from the large decks. Light a fire and cozy up with a mug of hot chocolate indoors or, during warmer weather, outdoors in the fresh air. Whip up your favorite recipes in the fully-equipped kitchen and choose to dine indoors or out on the deck. This home is the perfect mountain getaway. Soothe your muscles in the convenient jetted tub in the master tub or snuggle up with your lovely dog in the living area as the fireplace warms up the entire place.
The town of Idyllwild is just under four miles away. Explore the Village for shopping, dining, and nightlife. For a day hike, head to Humber Park which boasts numerous trails with breathtaking views, just over six miles away. Spend the day at the Idyllwild Nature Center, just three and a half miles away, for snow play in the winter or picnicking in the warmer months. You can also learn about the local ecology & Cahuilla Native Culture.
THINGS TO KNOW
Riverside County regulations prohibit any "party" lighting (outdoor luminaires shall not blink, flash, or rotate) and will hold guests/Vacasa liable for any "light trespass" on surrounding properties.
As with many mountain homes, there is no AC.
A 4x4 or tire chains may be required during the winter months.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
Security camera details: Ring camera mounted at the front door.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
Located in Idyllwild, this vacation home is in a rural area and in the mountains. Idyllwild Nature Center and Ramona Bowl Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and Soboba Springs Country Club. Cabazon Dinosaurs and Mr. Rex Dinosaur Adventure are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
