Escape to Whispering Pines: Your Idyllwild Retreat
Discover a spacious, single-level home nestled in the serene heart of Idyllwild. Perfect for families seeking relaxation and rejuvenation, Whispering Pines offers easy access to trails, the nature center, and the village. Enjoy year-round activities for all ages, while experiencing the comforts of home.
Guests are welcome to use the entire home. Because we also use our home, we keep our personal items and cleaning products in a couple of closets and in our garage so those areas will be locked and inaccessible. The home is very spacious and has all of the nice comforts of your home. There are plenty of toys for the kids to play with for both indoors and outdoors.

My phone number and email will be provided upon booking. Also you will be provided with a keyless entry code for the duration of your stay. Lupita Montoya is your in-person contact for any in-person needs during your stay. All information is available on site as well.
Whispering Pines Certificate #RVC-1555 is on a very quiet street, where one can enjoy tranquility and appreciate the sounds of birds and frogs throughout the day. The village, multiple trails and the Nature Center are all within a few minutes walk or drive. This area is an outdoor lover`s paradise.
Up to three vehicles can be parked comfortable in the driveway. No street parking is permitted.
If you are coming from San Diego, we recommend you drive through Temecula and Anza instead of going through Hemet. It’s a beautiful drive and much less curvy. As with all mountain homes, whether can change quickly and it’s best to check conditions before setting out.
Idyllwild has many events throughout the year that are related to arts and music. Almost any given weekend there is something to go in town to see and enjoy.
1. No parties: The Whispering Pines is a family home in a family neighborhood. We ask that if you would like to get a little loud and crazy to choose somewhere else to rent. We respect the peace of our neighbors and want our beautiful home to stay beautiful to share with many others. Any formal complaints received from the police or neighbors about excessive noise, destructive behavior and rowdiness will result in an immediate eviction and forfeit of security deposit. Please review the Good Neighbor Brochure upon arrival to ensure an enjoyable visit for all.
2. No Firearms period. If it comes to be that a guest has brought a firearm on the premises, it will result in an immediate eviction and forfeit of security deposit.
3. No Smoking/Vaping inside or outside on the property.
Located in Idyllwild, this apartment is in the mountains. McCallum Adobe and Forever Marilyn are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Mount San Jacinto State Park and Idyllwild Park. Traveling with kids? Consider Idyllwild Nature Center and Palm Springs Convention Center. Take time off to check out the winery tours in the area, or get some fresh air with adventures like mountain climbing, mountain biking, and hiking nearby.
