This family owned Cottage is located on an old 700 acre farm, overlooking the countless Islands on the Breidafjordur bay. Really beautiful location where you can experience the tranquility of country living.
The house was built in the 1980's on the West fjords of Iceland and moved to its current location in 2014.
The property stands on a farmland previously owned by my grandparents, where I spent all my summers from the age of 7 to the age of 16.
Located in Western Region, this cottage is by the sea. Eldfjallasafn and Norska Húsið are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Stykkisholmur Golf Club and Baldur Ferry Terminal. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
