Beautiful nature in close proximity. Lake Ellidavatn is in 15 min. walking distance and there are beautiful pathways along the lake. 15 min drive to Heiðmörk, a protected forest area with spectacular craters.
Getting Around:

The closest bus is called: Vatnsendahvarf / Ögurhvarf. It is only a few minutes walk from Icelandic Apartments.

You can take the FlyBus from the airport to the main bus station in Reykjavik and then take the public bus to IA. We recommend renting a car when staying in Kopavogur, as it's located 15 min. from Reykjavik.
Other Things to Note:

Kindly note the water in Iceland has this particular smell because of the sulphur in it . It is in fact one of the cleanest and most delicious drinking water in the world. Unlike in many neighbouring countries, the Icelandic water is free of chlorine, calcium, and nitrate.
