There is nothing quite as sweet as spending time in a little log cabin in rural Alaska. This one-room cabin has two queen beds, a small sitting space, and a wood burning fireplace. Located right on Bear Creek Pond and directly in front of Bear Creek, this little cabin is situated in the heart of the Bear Creek Lodge property. Included are some basic amenities, such as a microwave, mini fridge, electric tea kettle, and some Starbucks coffee. The Dirty Skillet is the lodge's dinner house, and it is located just some yards from the cabin. Bear Creek Lodge itself is right next door with shared indoor plumbing and hot showers. Stop in for a cup of espresso or a yummy baked good when you're not exploring the area.
Located in Hope, this cabin is on a lake. Hope & Sunrise Museum and Indian Valley Mine National Historic Site are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Chugach National Forest and Hope Point Trailhead. Rafting and motor boating offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with mountain biking and hiking nearby.
