Vacation and year round Lakefront homes side by side. Home is hidden from road. Lots are about 160' wide a piece. Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore property across the street. Walk to Manitou Restaurant, 1/4 mile, and great hiking trail to Lake Michigan less than a mile down road.
GUEST ACCESS:

You are renting 2.5 acres, a private water front and the entire home. Everything but the cleaning closet! : )

*This includes use of kayaks (May 1st til Nov 1st), and Row boat (April 1st til Nov 15th), Boat dock (Mid May - Nov 1st).
THE SPACE:

This home is available for long term guests this winter from November 1st - April 30th. $2,250/month. The dates are flexible. Message me if you have questions.

This "Cottage Style" home features, Maple flooring, milled beam accents, ceramic tile, cottage decor, and a cozy gas fireplace. It is also set up for family fun, with separate areas for adults, and little ones alike.

We supply plenty of warm weather amenities to help make your stress melt away. Full dock, w/mooring for extra boats (Memorial Day thru Early Oct), kayaks (May 1st til Nov 1st), row boat (Mid April til Mid Nov), along with life jackets and fire pit area.

Located right in the center of one of Northern Michigan's most desired vacation destinations. "The Landing" directly across the street from The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, and is only minutes from such areas as Empire, Glen Arbor, Crystal Lake and Frankfort.

High Def TV, Satellite with Dish Network w/movie channels, DVD library, gas log fireplace (Oct 1st til May 1st), fully equipped kitchen, patio dining furniture, Chargriller, and outdoor swing set. Also downstairs a Gameroom with, pool table, SD TV with Dish Network, PS2 w/games, and board games.

*Home sits on a small hill so the walk back up could be a concern for those with health issues.

** The "floor mattresses" that are listed in bedrooms 3 and 4 are actually twin cots. Sites have limited options for "sleeping arrangements" so we had to choose that. Please take this into consideration if you have a large group.

Up to 3 dogs are permitted. More than 3 dogs is prohibited and any pets other than dogs are also prohibited.

Things to bring!

- Paper towels, toilet paper, standard kitchen garbage bags, coffee filters - 12 cup standard size (not cone)
- Shampoo, hand soap, laundry detergent and dish washer detergent
- Cell phone
- Charcoal, aluminum foil, lighter fluid and lighter for the grill.
- Beach towels (for summer guests)
- Couple of extra blankets (for our winter guests)
- Bottled water, if you do not prefer well water
- A bundle of firewood, if you would like a campfire
- Life preservers for your kids
- For our winter guests we recommend bringing an all-wheel-drive vehicle or at the very least a front wheel drive with good snow tires.

Located in Honor, this cabin is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Crystal Lake Golf Club and Champion Hill Golf Course are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Green Point Dunes Nature Preserve.
