Properties in this location with open ocean views are limited and tend to fill early for spring and summer dates.
Flexible check-in and check-out days and shorter minimum stays help you avoid peak traffic and make the most of your time on the island.
Inside, you’ll find spacious, sun-filled rooms designed in a relaxed coastal style that feels clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The layout allows everyone to gather together while still having room to unwind after a full day on the beach.
Two large decks provide sweeping ocean views and extra outdoor living space — perfect for morning coffee at sunrise, afternoon reading in the shade, or dinner together with the sound of the waves in the background.
The fully stocked kitchen makes preparing meals simple and convenient, whether you're cooking fresh local seafood or quick breakfasts before heading out. Beds are made with fresh linens before your arrival, and we provide 10 bath towel sets, 8 beach towels, and starter essentials so you can settle in comfortably.
Beach access is directly across the street, making it easy for families with children or anyone who appreciates a simple walk to the sand. Topsail's Beach Access #1A is right across the street, is handicap accessible and features a beach access mat for easier wheelchair movement and parking nearby. Wave Hog provides 6 beach chairs, an umbrella, and toys for your use.
Topsail Beach is known for its peaceful shoreline, small-town charm, and family-friendly atmosphere. Enjoy local shops, waterfront dining, and the island sidewalk that connects toward Surf City or along the quieter southern end of the island. A visit to Scoops Micro Creamery is always a favorite tradition for guests.
Wave Hog is thoughtfully maintained and carefully prepared for each stay, creating a comfortable setting for your beach vacation. Many families choose to return year after year, and prime weeks are often reserved well in advance — we encourage securing your preferred dates while they are available.
Located in Topsail Beach, this vacation home is near the beach. Missiles and More Museum and Seacoast Art Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Topsail Skating Rink Topsail Beach and Thomas Tackle and Seafood. Ohana Paddle Sports and Mia's Marketplace are also worth visiting. Kayaking and windsurfing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and ecotours nearby.
