Our guests are welcome to use any items in our outdoor storage:
-Beach chairs
-Shibumi
-Beach umbrellas
-Beach toys
-Boogie boards
-Surf Board
-Kids toys (scooters and roller blades available)
-Charcoal grill *Please bring your own charcoal

You may see a glow coming from the return air vent - we have installed an HVAC UV light to help keep the circulated air clean :) The UV light kills viruses, bacteria, mold, and mildew.

House Rules:
**Please note we do require a copy of your driver’s license. You may submit your driver’s license through the pre-arrival form which will be sent immediately after booking. Rental agreement will be sent via email once booking is confirmed. Rental agreement and pre-arrival form must be filled out and returned to property management within 48 hours or booking will be cancelled.**

-Our beach house is in a residential part of Surf City and we do have neighbors that live here full time. We ask that you be mindful and adhere to our posted quiet hours.

-No parties or events allowed.

-No smoking allowed.

-No pets allowed.

-No unregistered guests allowed.

-No illegal substances allowed on the premises.

-Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.

-Please do not flush feminine hygiene products, paper towels, or flushable wipes.

-Please do not attempt to open owners closet on second floor.

-Please respect the noise curfew.

-Please only open windows in case of emergency.

-Please respect check-in and check-out times.

-Please do not leave sliding glass doors open – the humid summer heat will not allow the AC to work properly.

-Please take extra care of your keys. Lost keys incur a replacement fee of $25 per key.

-Please take care of the furnishings. Guests will be responsible for the cost of replacing or fixing damaged furniture.

-Please don’t rearrange the furniture.

-Please make best efforts to keep sand outside, there is an outdoor shower and foot faucet for your convenience.

-Please hang up all wet towels - there is also a laundry line outside that can be used.

-If towels are sandy DO NOT put them in the wash. please allow sandy/wet towels to dry outside on the clothes line and shake out towels before putting them in the wash.

-White towels are to not be used on the beach - any missing towels will be charged $25 per towel to cover the cost of replacement.

-Accidents happen - please let us know immediately if there are any damaged to the property so we can do our best to fix/repair items prior to the next tenant arriving.

-Please place dirty dishes in dishwasher prior to departure and start dishwasher.

-Trash day is on Tuesday - please be sure to take trash and recycle to the curb Monday evening to ensure your trash does not overflow. Please bag all trash and double bag as necessary being mindful of future guests.

-WATCH YOUR STEP - there are steps inside and outside. There are also steps on the cross over. Due to the proximity to the beach and mother nature, outside steps may become slippery due to sand, salt, or water. Please be careful and use the handrail for assistance.

-Please do not lean, stand, or jump on any of the inside or outside railings/ledges as this can cause serious injury or death and not their intended use.

-If there are any loose railings or steps, please notify us immediately and do not use until properly secured.

-Any item in the outside storage shed is to be used at your own risk.

-If you find any item located in the storage shed broken, please do not use and notify us immediately.

-Provided grill is to be left the way you found it. After each use please be sure to clean out grill and store it back in the shed to ensure grill does not rust.

-Due to fire laws, grills must be at least 10 feet from the house and steps.

-DO NOT USE GRILL UNDER CARPORT! Please ensure that the grill is being used in the driveway at least 10 feet away from the house.

-NO WALKING ON DUNES -There is a $500 fine

Cancellation Policy:
Full refund minus payment processing fees for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund minus payment processing fees for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.

Back in Touch Massage, Yoga, & Lomilomi and Escape Spa are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Ohana Paddle Sports and Thomas Tackle and Seafood. Mia's Marketplace and The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center are also worth visiting.
