Starry Night is located on 107 rolling acres of farm land and has access to 3000 feet of river frontage. On one half of the river front you'll find a trail through the woods that leads to a deep swimming hole - on the other side you'll find a large field with shallow waters perfect for sitting a camp chair in on hot days and letting the water flow around you (also, there is a fire pit with firewood for incredible sunsets over the river).

I give my guests space but am available when needed.

On one half of the river front you'll find a trail through the woods that leads to a deep swimming hole - on the other side you'll find a large field with shallow waters perfect for sitting a camp chair in on hot days and letting the water flow around you (also, there is a fire pit with firewood for incredible sunsets over the river). You can even bring your kayak, put in on one end and get out on the other! Hike down to the river/trail access or drive down - whatever you prefer! This access is only shared with three other homes. You also have access to the scenic 55 mile New River Trail which cuts through the property. Wake up to incredible sunrises.

Stay a week and explore the New River Valley - 5 minutes from Iron Heart Winery, 15 minutes to the Draper Village (restaurant, tea room, eclectic shopping, bike rentals, agritourism), 15 minutes to Foster Falls State Park (horseback riding, kayak/canoe access) and 30 minutes to Claytor Lake State Park (beach area, motorized boat rentals, hiking trails). Our area is also home to lots of wineries, antiquing, and sight seeing!

Located in Lead Mines, this cabin is in a rural area and on a river. New River Trail State Park and Shot Tower Historic State Park reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Draper Mercantile and Fort Chiswell Animal Park. Galewinds Amusement Park and Stone Mountain General Store are also worth visiting.
