Relax in the country at this idyllic Berkshires post and beam close to skiing at Butternut and Catamount. Twenty minutes to Tanglewood and a short drive to hiking, museums, amazing restaurants, farmers markets and lots of family-friendly activities. In the summer, unwind in the hammock or around the fire pit, or lounge on the porch and listen to the frogs and crickets. Perfect for couples or families (with kids).
Post and Beam home with wood burning stove and two wood burning fireplaces. Wrap around deck with balcony and screened in porch overlooking seasonal creek. Main floor has kitchen, dining room, living room, full bathroom, and den that converts to private bedroom. 2nd floor has two bedrooms and another bathroom.
Guests have access to essentials like satellite cable & wifi; stocked kitchen with coffee maker, dishwasher and other essentials; washer/dryer; Sonos speakers and/or iPod speakers. Land line available for guest use (certain cell carriers have limited reception in the area).
Located in Hillsdale, this vacation home is in a rural area and in the mountains. Tanglewood Music Center and Great Barrington Historical Society & Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center and Ebenezer II Gifts and Antiques.
