Escape to the cool breezes of Highlands while relaxing in this recreated home featuring 3 cozy bedrooms each with private bath. Enjoy lush gardens and the soothing tranquil sound of the creek with miniature waterfalls. Main level of home offers 2 large comfortable bedrooms with King beds and ensuite baths, a large roomy kitchen and adjacent dining area. Warm in front of the wood burning fireplace while watching your favorite movie in the large vaulted ceiling living room, or sit with a book in the front den and enjoy gas logs. The open deck is perfect for star gazing and grilling out.
*You are currently on the 2 Bedroom Option. If you need more space, please see Duck's Nest 3 Bedroom listing. It offers an additional sleeping area downstairs with separate locked outdoor entrance, Queen bed, full bath with shower, and a kitchenette with coffee maker, small fridge, and microwave. The lower level will never be occupied by another guest while the upper level is rented; it is just offered as an extension of the Main space.
With either need, you will be moments from downtown Highlands award winning restaurants and shopping.

Highlands is home to this vacation home. The Bascom Center for the Visual Arts and Highlands Playhouse are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Scaly Mountain Outdoor Center and Highlands Country Club. Highlands Biological Station and Andy's Trout Farm are also worth visiting. Enjoy the area's slopes with snowboarding and skiing, and don't miss out on the ice skating.
