Cozy and clean updated cottage with views of Mount Desert Island, Two private stone/pebble beaches are on the property. Very private and quiet with no immediate neighbors and naturally occurring low-bush blueberries growing in the yard between the house and the water's edge.
Ocean front with 2 small clam beaches, deep water frontage on Frenchman's Bay You can watch the lobster boats and fishing boats passing by from the cottage's front deck as close as 50 yards from the water's edge. Seal's can frequently be seen near the stone beach in front of the house and bald eagles have often been seen in the trees around the house. When sitting on the rocks down front by the water, you can clearly see people going up and down Cadillac Mountain (Bar Harbor) with a pair of binoculars. Just a short bike ride to Hancock Point and the center of Hancock which also offers a dock, beach and boat launch. Bar Harbor is just 20 minutes by car.
Located in Hancock, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Bar Harbor Whale Watching is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Acadia National Park and Acadia National Park's Visitors Center. Downeast Scenic Railroad and Seacoast Fun Park are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
