Take in spectacular views of the ocean inlet, Mt. Desert Island, and breathtaking sunsets each evening at this oceanfront home in Hancock. A gorgeous scene awaits you at every turn, from banks of windows in the living room to the spacious deck out back.
This two-story home sits on the oceanfront south of small-town Hancock (two miles north). It's a marvelous home base for exploring - secluded and rural, yet close to beloved attractions. You can easily explore Winter Harbor (18 miles) and the beautiful Schoodic Peninsula to the south, spend the day in majestic Acadia National Park (23 miles), or shop and dine your way through Bar Harbor (28 miles).
Bask in the summer sunshine on the large deck - breathing in the salty sea air and watching boats pass through Mt. Desert Narrows. Sear some fresh local seafood on the gas grill and set the table for a sunset dinner outdoors.
The interior is a showcase of the natural setting as well, with the ocean on display in the window-lined living room, the dining room, and all three bedrooms. Enjoy a spacious kitchen, both a living room and a den (with smart TVs) for after-dinner movie nights, and family-friendly conveniences that include a washer/dryer, a high chair, a booster seat, and baby gates. Complimentary WiFi is provided as well.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Bar Harbor Whale Watching is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Acadia National Park and Acadia National Park's Visitors Center. Traveling with kids?
