Peaceful Pines is a charming 3 bed 2 bath home close to the ocean and only 20 mins to Acadia National Park! This cape style home with front porch is a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring the area. Families will enjoy this comfortable home and love the convenient location. Guests will find lake and ocean access nearby as well as hiking trails, biking trails and more. Peaceful Pines is a new vacation rental this season and the owners hope you enjoy this property as much as they do!
The Space:
This cape style home offers a traditional floor plan with the kitchen, dining room and living room on the first floor. The well-equipped kitchen will make eating in a breeze! A dining room is located off the kitchen, offering space for enjoying meals together. Off the dining room is a comfortable living room with smart tv. A family room offering a smart tv could also be used a fourth bedroom or additional sleeping space as there is a futon. A full bathroom completes the first floor.
On the second floor, there are three bedrooms. The first and second bedroom have queen beds. The third bedroom has two twin beds. A full bath is also located on the second floor.
Outside the home is a beautiful lawn space, perfect for enjoying outdoor games and activities. A porch on the front of the home a great spot to releax in the evenings.
The Neighborhood:
Peaceful Pines is located in Hancock, a quaint coastal town offering ocean access and smaller hiking trails perfect for families. The home is also located just 20 minutes to Mount Desert Island, the home of Acadia National Park. The home is just a few minutes from Tidal Falls Preserve, a great spot for exploring the tide pools at low tide. Kids will enjoy seeing all of the starfish, crabs and more! By jumping on the Schoodic Scenic Byway, you can travel to Schoodic Point, a gorgeous place for photos in the Schoodic section of Acadia.
Hancock is home to this vacation home. Downeast Scenic Railroad and Ellsworth Congregational Church are local landmarks, and travelers looking to shop may want to visit Sullivan Harbor Farm and L.L. Bean Shopping Outlet. Seacoast Fun Park and Rooster Brother Coffee Roasters are also worth visiting. Be sure not to miss outdoor adventures like cycling and hiking/biking trails.
