Cabo Tortugas is located in the Pacific coast, 2 1/2 hrs. by car from Guatemala City, taking the Pacific Highway .
Just one mile from the village of Monterrico, our property is right in front of the beach, so when you are there, you will enjoy the view, the sound and the fresh breeze of the ocean. A refreshing swimming pool and a hammock hut, are located right in front of the beach. Green areas with lots of palm trees and tropical vegetation, make it a great place to rest and relax.
We have two fully equiped bungallows, that can accomodate up to 6 persons each: one is located in the first floor and the other in the second floor.
Both bungalows have a bedroom with a king size bed and a bunk bed; the living room is made of two imperial beds, that are used to sleep at night. A dinning table and a fully equipped kitchenette with everything you need to cook: range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender, pots , dishes, silverwre, etc.
The design and materials used in the construction, are local and were buildt also by local villagers. The palm used in the roofs, and the large windows, make the bungalows fresh and gives them a tropical touch.
The place is family oriented and NO PETS are allowed in the premisses.
Located in Monterrico, this vacation home is on the beach. La Barra Beach and Las Lisas Beach are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Monterrico Beach and Las Lisas Playfield. Estación Biológica el Banco and Sea Museum are also worth visiting. Discover the area's water adventures with fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with hiking/biking trails, ecotours, and horse riding.
