Wander Anchor Cove is a modern concrete, glass, and steel home with floor-to-ceiling windows set on 5.25 acres overlooking our own private cove with over 1,800 feet of ocean frontage. This incredible coastal escape overlooks rock formations and islands where you can enjoy the sunset and whale-watching views year-round from the 6-person hot tub, or permanent bench on the bluff top.
PET POLICY
Our pet fee is $350 per stay and covers up to 2 dogs with a combined maximum weight of 100 lbs. The fee goes directly to the cleaner for the additional work required after a pet stay. Pets are strictly prohibited on beds, indoor or outdoor furniture, and in spa facilities.
CELL SERVICE
While the house has fast WiFi, cell phone service is limited in this area of Gualala. We recommend taking note of the WiFi password and access code beforehand, which is available on the “Trips” tab in the Wander app. Cell network strength can vary by topology, time of day, weather, and whether you’re located inside or outside of a vehicle or house.
NO AC
Many homes in this climate are built without air conditioning. We provide portable fans that can be used to stay cool and comfortable.
SAFETY
For safety reasons, the roof is strictly off-limits to guests. Unauthorized access is prohibited.
Since tides affect swimming, fishing, and beachcombing, it’s always best to check the tide schedule before heading out.
CLIFFS
Perched on stunning 40-50 ft cliffs, the views are spectacular but it is dangerous for kids or pets left unattended. The cliffs are also home to a family of foxes. They are nocturnal, but please take caution and be aware that though we try to keep the area clean, they may leave waste.
NO SMOKING OR VAPING
Smoking is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the home. A fine of $1,000 will be applied to any guest found violating this policy.
EVENTS
Parties or events are not allowed unless prior written approval is given by our team. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a fine.
Located in Gualala, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Sea Ranch Golf Links and Bowling Ball Beach are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore B. Bryan Preserve and California Coastal National Monument. Kayaking and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking and ecotours nearby.
