Elea is a quiet and friendly village located in southern Laconia in a natural bay with beautiful beaches. The picturesque bays and crystal blue waters offer the visitor unique moments. Elaia offers good food in restaurants and taverns. The wider area is ideal for outdoor activities such as swimming, fishing, diving, hiking & cycling, climbing and wine tasting.
Around the area of Elaia you will find some of the best tourist and historical spots in Greece. The property is a springboard to discover the outstanding attractions in the Peloponnese such as the castle of Monemvasia (23km), deserted Byzantine city of Mystras (65km), the magical Elafonissos & Kithyra islands (43km to Punta Harbor), traditional Talanta’ Watermill(23km) and the magnificent museum of olive and oil in Sparta (61km).
