Welcome to the Pine Tree Tiny Cottage, your cozy escape in the woods. Located on 5 peaceful acres between Grants Pass and Merlin, Oregon (just 8 minutes from Merlin and 15 minutes from Grants Pass), this tiny forest cottage is the perfect romantic retreat for couples or solo travelers seeking nature, comfort, and a unique stay.

(For safety and comfort, we do not accommodate children.)

Your cottage includes a private porch overlooking the pine trees and alpaca pasture. Relax in two outdoor bathtubs under the stars, enjoy your own propane fire pit, or soak in the two-person hot tub with peaceful wooded views.

*Pet-Friendly Policy:

We welcome well-behaved pets! For the safety of our free-range alpacas, chickens, & other free range animals; all dogs and service animals must be leashed outdoors. Guests are fully responsible for their pets at all times. No unattended pets inside cabins & Pet Fee is required.

*Please Note:

Our Tiny House and Tiny Cabin are also nearby, each with its own private space and setting. Book multiple cabins together for gatherings or friend retreats. Parking is shared but clearly signed for each guest.

There is a Shared ( with the other Tiny house nearby) wood fire pit w/ seating area, movie projector, stock tank pool, BBQ & common area for you and the other Tiny house guests to enjoy. We work hard to make sure each cabin has its own space, but the cabins are in close proximity to each-other.

Guest Interactions:

We respect your privacy. The cottage is on our property, home to our non-profit alpaca rescue. You may see us tending to the animals or working around the grounds. Many questions can be answered by going to your cabin guide. Guests can also book a private alpaca meet-and-feed experience during their stay (donation required & appointment necessary).

Respect Our Home: This is our home, not a hotel. Please respect the cabins, other guests, and clearly marked private areas.

Children: For safety and comfort, we do not accommodate children.

Pets: Pet-friendly, but all dogs & service animals MUST be leashed outdoors to protect our free-range alpacas and chickens. Guests are responsible for pets at all times.

Shared Spaces: Some amenities (wood fire pit, BBQ, stock tank pool, outdoor movie projector) are shared with nearby tiny homes. Please be mindful of others.

Water & Laundry: We’re on a small-producing well; guest laundry is not available. Please conserve water.

Quiet Hours: 10 PM – 7 AM for a peaceful forest retreat.

Alpaca Rescue: Guests are welcome to see and hand-feed the alpacas over the fence during their stay—just follow the posted guidelines to keep the animals safe. For those who want a closer experience, supervised meet-and-greet sessions can be scheduled. These special encounters help support our non-profit, and we kindly ask for a donation to the rescue in exchange.

*No Parties or Unregistered Guests

For the comfort of all guests and the safety of our animals, parties, large gatherings, or unapproved events are not allowed. All guests must be registered on the reservation—no unregistered visitors are permitted on the property. This is our home, not a hotel, and we ask that you respect the peaceful environment, other renters, and our neighbors. If you’d like to host a small celebration or photoshoot, it must be approved in advance. Unauthorized events or unregistered guests may result in cancellation without refund.

*Add-On Services & Experiences:

Enhance your stay with on-property massages or a picnic with the alpacas, offered by trusted local businesses we partner with. These experiences are designed to make your getaway even more memorable. Please note: services are not operated by Triple Nickel Pines, but by local providers we support to bring you unique, one-of-a-kind moments during your visit.

Report Issues Promptly: If anything is missing, not working, or incorrect, tell us immediately so we can fix it quickly.

Security Cameras: For safety, there are 5 exterior-only cameras monitoring entry/parking/common exteriors. No cameras inside or in hot tub/outdoor bathtub areas.

Reviews: We value all of our guests and always leave thoughtful, 5-star reviews for those who are respectful of our home and rules. Any constructive feedback is shared privately, never in a way that reflects poorly on you. Please extend the same courtesy by carefully reading the listing and house rules before booking. Ratings are vital for small hosts like us, and anything below 4.8 can put our listing at risk.

Availability: We often work on the road/in remote areas, so we’re not always immediately available, but we’ll respond as quickly as possible.

All cancellations are managed through Airbnb’s platform under the policy selected at booking—please review before confirming.

**GET THE TRIP INSURANCE**. It’s highly recommended to protect your stay in case of emergencies, illness, or last-minute changes.

Weather & Power Outages: Refunds are not provided for weather events or rare utility outages beyond our control (check Pacific Power for updates).
