A unique place with style! A lovingly restored roaring 20's house with many original features, honoring Chipeta "Queen of the Utes". It is family friendly and cozy but full of Native American art and artifacts. Enjoy the hot tub, fire pit and large patio.
Nestled in a quiet neighborhood in the historic district of Grand Junction and within walking distance of the University and several parks. The space is not shared but we do have a traveling medical personal in the basement apartment.
The space
Three king beds, hot tub, large patio, fenced yard and fire pit. We have honored Chipeta in this unique house. The house was built in 1928 by an architect for himself. The exterior work of the stone mason can be found on other municipal buildings and parks. The upstairs and yard are not a shared space but we do have traveling medical personal apartment downstairs.
Guest access
The guests have full private access to the upper level and yard of this house.
Washington Park, a neighborhood in Grand Junction, is home to this vacation home. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Colorado River and James M. Robb – Colorado River State Park, while John McConnell Math and Science Center and Cross Orchards Historic Site are cultural highlights. Western Colorado Center for the Arts and Western Colorado Botanical Gardens are also worth visiting.
