Nestled in the quiet village of Bernard, this charming cottage is set off the main road at the end of a short, wooded lane, offering privacy, comfort, and the calm pace of life on Mount Desert Island. With high-speed Wi-Fi, a comfortable work setup, and minimal distractions, it's the perfect spot to catch up on work if needed or relax after a full day exploring Acadia.
Wake up to birdsong, take a stroll to Back Beach for a morning reset, and enjoy a peaceful, productive day with nature just outside your window.

FIRST FLOOR: Entry leads into a small mudroom for outdoor gear and shoes. Kitchen with table that seats 4 to 5 comfortably is positioned next to a sunny window for the morning sun. Living Room with flat-screen Smart TV leads into a Bedroom with Queen bed. Full Bath with combined tub and shower also includes a laundry area and has two entrances, one from the Master Bedroom, and one from the main Living Area. Living Area also features a heat pump that serves as an AC unit sufficient to cool the main living area. Window fans are available for the second floor and master bedroom for where the heat pump might struggle to reach.
SECOND FLOOR: A narrow staircase leads to an open Bedroom with two sleeping areas tucked under the eaves. One side features a double bed, and the other features a single bed.
OUTDOOR SPACES: Deck tucked off the back of the house offering privacy from neighboring properties with gas grill, outdoor seating, and dining area. Fire-pit area is located next to the house above a granite outcropping. Yard and woods surround the back of the house and is safe for play.
Located in Bernard, this vacation home is in the city center and near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Acadia National Park and Cadillac Mountain. George B. Dorr Museum of Natural History and Naturalist's Notebook are also worth visiting. Kayaking and motor boating offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking and mountain climbing nearby.
