THE HOME: This house was built in 2018 with every modern amenity and comfort for vacation life. Vaulted ceilings in the great room, chef’s kitchen with two sinks, air conditioning, high speed internet, Weber gas grill, even a wine refrigerator! Home boasts two separate family rooms with large screen SmartTV’s for upstairs downstairs movie watching and relaxation - expansive deck overlooking entirety of the Ipswich Bay. The house is completely powered by SOLAR panels (with backup to the electric grid).
Upstairs has two bedrooms: master suite, king bed, with full bath and walk-in closet. Small bedroom or office, daybed with trundle, across the hall from half bath and laundry room. Great room includes the kitchen, island, dining area, and a living space with game area and SmartTV with Comcast Xfinity and access to Hulu/Netflix/Amazon streaming services… All with expansive 180 degree views of the Bay (somewhat limited by trees in the summer months).
Downstairs has two bedrooms: a second master suite, king bed, with full bath and walk in closet. Second bedroom “Bunk Room” has two bunk beds (both twin over full size mattresses!), walk in closet and full bath with tub for bathing the kids. The downstairs family room also has a living area with 55” Flat screen SmartTV with same access as upstairs. Pack&Play, toys and games are also available on site.
EXTERIOR: The deck and master bedroom upstairs bedrooms have stunning water views; minimal trees obstruct but provide comfortable shade for relaxation and summer enjoyment.
50 yards away are two completely private, quiet, beaches that are shared with the estate. One is soft white sand (for high tide), one is expansive soft grey sand (for low tide). Two tennis courts are also shared with the estate and available for use, as well as a full children’s playground with slides, swings, and shade for wearing out the little ones!
An exceptional spot for families (especially young children) who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of crowds, for private kayak/paddle boarding in the cool Ipswich Bay! Bring your own sporting gear (Ipswich Bay is fabulous for water sports) – maybe even catch a fish. 2 adult stand up paddle board, 1 medium size kayak and 2 kid's kayaks are available for use at the house. House has a heated outdoor shower and hose for washing off sand.
THE AREA: Charming/Historic Downtown Gloucester is just a 10 min drive (4 miles). There are whale watching, fishing trips, lots of great seafood restaurants, famous bars, and fun downtown markets!
Down the road there are stunning public quarries. Warm for swimming and beautiful for hiking!
The famous Market Restaurant is 1 mile walk, in Annisquam… Make sure you call for reservations, books up weeks in advance!
Located in Gloucester, this vacation home is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Good Harbor Beach and Cape Ann. Traveling with kids?
