This 3-level, 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, recently renovated, beach-themed condo is fully stocked and features 2 unique outdoor spaces. Located right between 2 of Cape Ann’s most amazing beaches — Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester and Long Beach in Rockport — Take your pick — no need to drive or pay for beach parking, as both beaches are just a short walk away!

The space:

We are located 40 miles north of Boston in historic Gloucester, perfectly nestled between Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester and Long Beach in Rockport.

Our vacation home is fully furnished and available for summer weekly vacations, as well as long weekends, weekly stays, and short-term off-season getaways.

Indoor features include 3 levels of cozy and comfortable living:

The main level features an updated, fully stocked kitchen with an open-concept layout into the living room, along with a half bathroom. The living room includes a gas fireplace, 50+” flat-screen TV, two full-sized couches (one pulls out for additional sleeping if needed), and a full-sized screened slider leading out to the front deck.

The second level has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Each bedroom includes a queen bed, closet space, plenty of storage, and its own private full bathroom with a bathtub/shower. Linens, bedding, and towels are provided during your stay. We also can provide a pack n play if needed.

The third floor living space features a spiral staircase leading to the loft. This room includes two queen beds, two rollaway cots, a TV, built-in book nook, and built-in desk. Many kids love this space as their own private area to relax and hang out away from the adults!

The entry level includes a washer and dryer for your use, along with extra beach towels for those days when you want to head back to the beach again and again.

Outdoor features include unique spaces for relaxing:

The main level has a walkout to the front deck with a bistro table and two chairs.

Off the kitchen is a walkout to the back patio, featuring a dining table, BBQ, outdoor furniture, fire pit, and outdoor shower.

Above the back patio, you’ll find the garden ledge surrounded by beautiful granite rock features. This peaceful space includes a hammock and a relaxing area perfect for reading, lounging, or enjoying the surroundings.

Your rental includes cable TV, Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, linens, beach cart, beach chairs, classic board games, and plenty of books for lazy days reading on the beach, relaxing around the home, or enjoying the hammock.

Guest access:

You have full access to this entire condo unit, with parking available for 4–5 cars in the driveway. Street parking is also available.

Other things to note:

Week-long rentals are preferred from end of June through beginning of September (Saturday check-in).

This home has three staircases and may not be suitable for all guests with mobility limitations:

Approximately 14 steps from the entry level to the main living area.
Approximately 14 steps from the living area to the bedrooms.
A spiral staircase leading to the third-floor loft.

Guests traveling with toddlers may want to bring their own baby gates. Guests with difficulty using stairs should consider this layout when planning their stay.

This property is one half of a duplex home (two separate condos), and we live in the other half.

The home is equipped with window A/C units in each of the three bedrooms and one in the living room. Ceiling fans are located in the living room, kitchen, and both primary bedrooms. Additional fans are available in the loft if needed. For the most comfortable stay in the heat of the summer, we recommend keeping windows closed and running the A/C when needed.

The home is located on a busier coastal road with Thatcher Pond directly across the street. There are no sidewalks, but the area is very familiar with beach traffic and pedestrians. We are approximately 0.44 miles from both Long Beach and Good Harbor Beach — both are an easy, short walk away.

Located by the sea, this condo is in East Gloucester, a neighborhood in Gloucester. Hammond Castle is a notable landmark, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Good Harbor Beach and Cape Ann. Traveling with kids? Consider Schooner Adventure and Maritime Gloucester.
