On a great part of the lake - convenient to both GA 400 and I-985 - it is a quiet cove yet close to everything. Our cottage feels like a lake cottage but has all the upgrades you are looking for.

Get ready to breathe a little easier, laugh a little louder and relax at the lake.

LIVING AND DINING

Brand new kitchen with all new appliances including a full size ice maker for all of your entertaining needs. Kitchen is stocked with Keurig, French Press, Blender, and the essentials you will need for cooking and entertaining. A beautiful Eat In dining counter allows for meals with the family.

The well appointed living room features comfortable seating, a 50" flat screen Smart TV - full cable package and allows you access to Netflix and Hulu accounts to watch your favorite movies and shows.

A loft overlooking the common area that features seating, games and plenty of space for games and hanging out. There are also two single beds here for additional sleeping.

SLEEPING AREAS

Captain's Quarters - A master retreat with a King Bed featuring a 12 inch Memory Foam mattress and Memory Foam pillows with Bamboo Cotton bed linens. The master features a 43" flat screen TV and a set of french doors to the deck.

Smooth Sailing Guest Room - A bedroom featuring a Queen Bed with a 12 inch Memory Foam mattress and Memory Foam pillows with a fluffy down alternative duvet and plenty of storage.

Anchors Away Guest Room - A bedroom featuring a set of Bunk Beds with comfortable twin mattresses as well as a reading nook and plenty of storage.

Birds Nest Loft - An open area to the living room accessible by ladder that features two twin beds.

We also have a sleeper sofa in the living room.

BATHING & OTHER AREAS

Main Bath - A roomy bathroom featuring a shower/bathtub combination and plenty of storage. The bathroom is stocked with plenty of plush towels for your use. A vanity mirror and hair dryer are two essentials you won't have to bring from home.

Master Bath - Off the master, a roomy bathroom featuring a large walk in shower and plenty of storage including a large closet. The bathroom is stocked with plenty of bamboo towels for your use.

Laundry - a washer and dryer and laundry area is provided in the Master Bedroom for your use.

GAME ROOM

We have converted the garage and made it a game room. Heating/Cooling with finished walls and soft flooring are a great space to watch the game on the flat screen or enjoy the PING PONG table, FOOS BALL table, a game of DARTS or many of the other games we have in the room.

OUTDOOR LIVING

Lake life is about outdoor living even when you have to come off the boat - so we hope you enjoy our outdoor living areas.

DECK AND SCREENED IN PORCH

Our 800 sq foot deck includes a large Screened In Porch that features a dining table (seats 8), bar, conversation set and flat screen TV perfect for watching college football or Sunday games with both SEC and Red Zone channels. We are fully stocked with melamine dishware for outdoor dining. Enjoy the lake in style without the bugs!

Our sun deck includes a 5 burner gas grill for your use, plenty of lounging space and space off of the master bedroom with rocking chairs and tables to enjoy morning coffee as you watch the family of deer who frequent the woods around the house.

DOCK

A two story dock with sundeck is perfect for sunbathing, relaxing or watching the sunset. The dock is great for swimming and fishing. There is a swim ladder to get into the water easily - but the cove is not that deep - so no diving off the top deck. Bring your own lake towels!

We also have a tandem (two person) kayak for your use.

Unlike many houses at the Lake , our path to the dock is a nice level stroll! Just follow the lit path.

OTHER OUTDOOR AREAS

Outdoor Shower - On the side of the house - a shower to wash the lake off before you enter the house.

Fire Pit - Enjoy the fire pit as you sit in the Adirondack chairs. Roast marshmallows and make s'mores. Outdoor string lights add ambiance.

Trampoline - Enjoy the trampoline for loads of fun - but please supervise the young ones!

Swing - A fun swing in the trees.

OTHER FEATURES

Parking Area - pull around the back for private parking. There is private parking around the garage and in the rear next to the deck stairs. There is also a load zone in front. Maximum of 3 vehicles and no RVS/boat trailers.

IMPORTANT NOTES & HOUSE RULES

Our bungalow is cozy, special and our neighborhood is quaint. This is the perfect getaway - but not a party pad. No large groups or parties. We sleep 6 comfortably in private rooms and up to 8 including the beds in the loft / couch.

We have 2 exterior security cameras for liability and to ensure the compliance with the rules noted here.

Our road is a dead end and windy/narrow and parking at our place is limited to 3 vehicles... and unfortunately no boats/trailers. Cars can park in the private off street driveway.

Located in Gainesville, this cottage is on the waterfront. Margaritaville at Lanier Islands is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Lake Lanier and Chattahoochee River.
