Welcome to the Round House at Madrona Cove. So named for the beautiful madrone trees located here. The Round House is a perfectly round home, on a serene piece of waterfront property just outside of Friday Harbor. Rumor has it that it was listed in earlier editions of "Best Places to Kiss in the Northwest".
The Round House features two bedrooms, each with their own Queen Sized Bed. The master bedroom features an ensuite with slate shower and the spacious guest bath boasts a tub and shower, just outside the second bedroom. Wake up to a hot cup of coffee and enjoy the view from the expansive windows overlooking the cove, or catch the sunset while soaking in the hot tub after a day of exploring.
The great room and deck are great spots for viewing wildlife. Bald Eagles are frequently seen on the property or flying overhead. Many seals call the rocks out front, home. A variety of water birds frequent the cove year-round as well. Come, be our guest and escape from the day to day and take in a piece of the island life.
Located in Friday Harbor, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the beach. San Juan Island National Historic Park and English Camp are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at San Juan Golf & Tennis Club and Roche Harbor Marina. Whale Museum and Jones Island State Park are also worth visiting. Kayaking and motor boating offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and ecotours nearby.
