Welcome to The Rising Sun in Surfside Beach, Texas! Featuring an open floor plan, tasteful nautical decor, and expansive deck with views of the Gulf. We’re located on a quiet dead end street. The beach is a 30 second walk away with direct access through a walkway.
We do provide your first gallon of water and some cold water bottles in the fridge for you but make sure to bring enough to drink and cook with as the city water is not consumable.
Bed linens and bath towels are provided. A modern kitchen, featuring quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and fully stocked with everything you need to make delicious meals to be enjoyed at the dining table for 8 along with seating for 3 at the island.
Our living room features a 75” smart TV with access with Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video, ESPN+ and other TV apps. UFC or Boxing events can be ordered, we just asked that you cover that cost.
DOG-FRIENDLY:
Up to 2 well-behaved dogs considered, subject to approval and a non-refundable pet fee ($100 for 1 dog, extra $50 for 2) per stay.
No dogs on furniture please. We ask that dogs not be left home alone unless crated/kenneled. No cats allowed.
EASY CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT:
It's easy to stay with us and secure too! Access the home electronically at 4pm on the date of your arrival with your unique lock code that we specifically give only to you via text and email. Your code is live from 4pm on your arrival date until 11am on the date of your departure.
AREA:
No touristy chain restaurants, shops or hotels. Just chillin' beach bar and grills, food (and beverage) trucks (like Surfin Rita Daiquiris To-Go), burger joints (like Pier 30 and Beachfront Deck Bar & Grill) and tasty fresh seafood options (like Seahorse Bar & Grill and Red Snapper) line the water. Surfside is your simple relaxing sandy beach, water sporting, surfing, fishing and crabbing vacation destination.
Surfside Beach is located around an 1 hr drive to Houston on Texas Highway 288 depending on traffic. For out-of-town visitors, Houston Hobby Airport is within easy driving distance offering many carriers making air travel reasonable and convenient Just rent a car and enjoy the drive down!
