This 4-bedroom, 3000 sq.ft. house has lots of space for reading, playing games and cooking great meals in the chef's kitchen. It is a perfect house to spend time together.
Build a fire in the Solo stove, hop in the hot tub and enjoy the serenity of the woods. Or use the house as a base to shop the Freeport stores, visit the beautiful Mid-Coast or ski at one of Maine's many ski mountains. Then relax with a cocktail and a book in front of the fireplace.
The house is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood. There is a nice loop to walk on the road. Behind the house is a wooded area with trails. The Desert of Maine is right down the street with walking trails, museum and mini golf.
It is an 8-minute drive to LL Bean and downtown Freeport, a 15-minute drive to Wolf's Neck State Park and Winslow Memorial Park and beaches, a 20-minute drive to Portland, and a 90-minute drive to Sunday River Ski resort.
Freeport is home to this vacation home. Freeport Historical Society and Clay Play are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Harrington House and Eartha. Wilbur's of Maine Chocolate Confections and Wolfe's Neck Farm are also worth visiting.
