Connect with the nature at this 51-acre unforgettable escape—peaceful and serene. Fully private, this space is not shared with owners or other guests. Great for events, retreats, reunions, etc. Disconnect from the strains of daily life—admire the rustic views from the comfort of an outdoor hot tub, roam the vast gorgeous space, and enjoy the warmth of a fireplace while playing board/arcade games, ping pong, or sampling from our own small book collection. Should you awake missing modern comforts, simply turn on the large, 65-inch smart HDTV and enjoy Xfinity Gigabit high speed internet/TV (up to 40x faster than basic broadband). Test new recipes with a BBQ grill or fully stocked kitchen. For those looking to travel nearby, plug into your own EV charger (220v, Level 2 Charger). This space is located about 1 hour from DC and Baltimore; 5-minute drive to downtown Frederick, MD.
The Space
The amenities are plentiful, bedding, and toiletries throughout the house. Every bedroom has beautiful view of the landscape. There is a fireplace on each floor, Patio, Deck, Hot tub, Sunroom, covered front porch with beautiful views. The dining room seats up to 8 comfortably. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, toaster, coffee maker, dinnerware, serve ware, and more. An outdoor fire pit and firewood are provided.
Guest access
Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire 51-Acre property, with the exception of inside the barns. The perimeter of the property is marked by tree line and forest lines. Guests may find an iconic map of the property inside Guest Manual at the farmhouse.
Other things to note
The guest booking the property must be 27 years of age or older. We reserve the right to request a photo or scan of a government-issued photo ID. The guest who books must stay at the property--you may not book for others if you do not intend to stay at the property.

Our property's holds quite hours from 10 pm to 7 am are required by county ordinance and enforced by local police. We strongly discourage loud music/speakers and large parties at any time, as violation of local rules may result in early termination of stay without refund.

We use devices that measure volume levels (like a smoke detector but for noise and do not record voices). The devices are triggered primarily by sustained periods of loud music, not things like loud talking or laughter (which is encouraged!). The devices do not record audio and are 100% privacy compliant.

You are entering a farm-stay. There are bugs, weeds, terrain, animals and wildlife, and equipment present. Encounters with wildlife are possible. Dress appropriately with safe footwear. Remain cognizant of your surroundings, especially at night. Children and pets must be chaperoned by an adult at all times. Guests should clean and cover the grill and any barbecue utensils after each use. Only *experienced* adults are permitted to manage the Hot tub, fireplaces and fire pit areas. For indoor fireplaces: guests MUST open the fireplace damper/flue before each use AND close it after each use. Guests assume responsibility for the loss or damage of any items to the property and furnishings. If anything is damaged and/or requires special cleaning or replacement, please contact the host immediately. Guests may not tamper with wi-fi equipment. Parties and events are not permitted without prior authorization. Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis. Any and all pets brought to the property should be disclosed at the time of booking. A pet fee and additional rules may apply.

SEPTIC SYSTEM: This house has a septic system. Grease and oil must never be allowed down any of the sink drains. Feminine hygiene products must be thrown away in a trash can and not flushed down a toilet. Never flush solid trash down the toilet or into a sink drain.

Smoking is never allowed inside the house. You may smoke outside as long as you clean up after yourself. You may not litter cigarette butts on the deck, in the yard, or anywhere else--butts must go in the trash after they have cooled off.

Fireworks are not allowed.

Guests may not bring firearms or ammunition inside the farmhouse.

Guests may not possess or consume any illegal drugs on the property.

Located in Frederick, this vacation home is in a rural area. Schifferstadt and Monocacy National Battlefied are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Roads and Rails Museum and Frederick Fairgrounds.
