This storybook cabin is located on 7 private mountainous acres in gorgeous Cowee Valley in Franklin, NC. A 400sq ft., modern, pine tongue and groove cabin. Heat and A/C via mini-split units, not noisy window ac units. Built in 2019 and newer to rental market. This rental has premier host status with exceptional guest reviews.

Contactless check-in and check-out makes it easy to come and go as you please.

Enjoy this fairytale property, that is easy to get to, in the Gem Capital of the World. All the conveniences of home, plus some.

Feel miles away from all the stressors of life, yet close enough to enjoy evenings in town at the many unique restaurants and shops main street has to offer. Spend your days kayaking at Nantahala Outdoor Center, gem mining, hiking, tubing or fishing at the many rivers and creeks in the area. While the cabin is a bit remote you are never far from all the activities you choose including the many parks and trails in the area.

Outdoors:
You will see wildlife from your covered porch with ample seating and party lights. You will thoroughly enjoy the 375 ft. of babbling creek and exploring the property. Drift off to sleep in the hammock or try your luck gem mining. (local gem dirt provided upon request)
The gravel patio has a dining table with umbrella for long peaceful conversations and meals outdoors. A gas grill and pizza oven are available to use if you love to cook.

Relax and enjoy the 2 fire pits. One is rustic with log seating and the other has all-weather Adirondack chairs. (Weather conditions/burn bans may affect use) Outdoor quilts available for those chilly nights. Outdoor towels are provided for sunbathing or creek adventures. S'mores never tasted so good!

Enjoy leaf viewing? It doesn't get any better than the Great Smoky Mountains. The colors are stunning and can be seen throughout the valley and any road you take. Take time to slow down and enjoy life for a bit.

Inside:
The kitchen is fully stocked for meal preparation and dining. Full bath with luxury linens and the most comfortable queen bed awaits you. The low loft is great for younger kids (4 yrs and older) with a queen size memory foam mattress.
The cabin has 3 flat screen TV's, board games and a video library.
Smaller washer and dryer and first few nights staples provided.
STARLINK is available with a few apps or sign on with your own Netflix or other app streaming accounts.
The cabin is stocked with paper products, toiletries and coffee for your few days.

For the dogs: $75 per stay up to 2 pups
Your dogs will enjoy all the new sights and smells in this very pet friendly town. We provide furniture coverings, bowls, toys and a securely fenced yard. Outside hot water is onsite for washing off muddy paws after exciting adventures. Your pups will love this very dog friendly cabin.
Pet sitter referrals available. Dogs must be supervised and may not be left alone at the cabin or on the grounds at anytime please.

This is truly a magical property calling you to pause and relax. It is cozy and very clean.

Owner’s home is located up the mountain on adjoining property. Owner’s house is partially visible through the trees at certain times of the year. We have 3 rescue dogs in our home that you may hear welcome you. However, they are confined to our property. We respect your privacy at all times and will only be present if you ask to meet us.

PLEASE NOTE: Driveway security cameras are pointed at the shed and entry gate/driveways to monitor vehicles entering the property.

There is a 1200 ft of scenic gravel/unpaved road to property. It is easy access but can vary with with weather conditions. During heavy rains it may get muddy and a bit bumpy. This is not a paved road. See attached video of drive in.

We are deep in the woods. As expected, wildlife and insects are present on our property. You will enjoy watching the animals and discovering new life not seen in the suburbs.

The Cute Cabin is centrally located near all that Western North Carolina has to offer.

Parker Meadows Park and Country Side Bowling Lanes are also worth visiting. Kayaking and water tubing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with mountain climbing and hiking/biking trails nearby.
