This rustic family cottage will take you back to a simpler time where life moves by at a slower pace. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs (1 full and 2 twins) and a third area with a queen bed downstairs. There is one bathroom with a shower over the old clawfoot tub, as well as a washer and dryer. There is a wood burning stove in the living room that will take off the chill in the shoulder season. This Cottage is a member of The Congregational Summer Assembly that comes with access to 800’ of members-only sandy beaches on Crystal Lake, as well as shared access to Lake Michigan beach. Registered renters are included for a $33 weekly fee during the mid-June to mid-August season. There are also four tennis courts (the two closest to the cottage require purchasing an additional $10 season access ticket). The main assembly building has a ping pong table and foosball table, a library, activities board, and is where they hold dances and other indoor activities for young kids. There is also a meeting house with church on Sunday across the field from the main assembly building. As a guest in a CSA cottage, you are welcome to use/attend as many or as few of the CSA activities you wish.
Located in Frankfort, this vacation home is near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Lake Michigan and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
