Have the best of both worlds: a secluded cabin in the woods right on Lake Michigan. Perfect for a family get-away, and large enough to accommodate multiple families and larger groups.
The beach is in your backyard - no road to cross, and no neighbors or association to share with. There are 82 easy steps down to the private beach - perfect for using the 2 kayaks or 2 stand up paddle boards. Use the 18-foot floating mat to get the whole family out on the water! Or just lay in the hammock at the bluff to watch the clouds and the boats go by. Enjoy the sound of the surf and the beautiful sunsets, while you relax with a beverage on the Adirondacks at bluff’s edge. Great backyard for family games: bags, badminton, and others.
The kitchen, island, and bar area, are set up for entertaining a large group. A chef's stove and stainless cookware make for grand meals indoors. Or cook outdoors in the new outdoor kitchen with beverage fridge. The indoor kitchen boasts a wet bar with beverage fridge and stand alone ice maker to help ensure the beverages keep flowing.
Ground floor Master Bedroom Suite has private access to the deck, and en suite bathroom. Two other ground floor queen bedrooms will each comfortably house a couple and share a full bathroom. You can pile the kids into the two upstairs bunk rooms for a week of fun they will never forget! Both rooms have 3 twins, and there is a half bath upstairs. The twin beds are all on wheels, and can be pushed together to make a king in each room, so the house can hold 5 couples, each in their own room.
High-speed Xfinity Internet with Wi-Fi access all the way to the beach allows you to stay connected, or you can leave your phone behind and relax off the grid. The house has central Air Conditioning and a backup generator to make sure that you are never without power. Window Air Conditioners upstairs make for comfortable sleeping in any room.
The house is perfectly located right in the middle of "Lakeshore Harvest Country" - numerous wineries, breweries, quaint restaurants, farm stands, and antique stores, among other diversions, make for no shortage of things to do. Virtue Cider, Evergreen Lane Creamery, Crane's Orchards, and Saugatuck Brewing Company among others make for fun outings. The property backs up to Dee's Lakeshore Family Farm, which offers U-pick in season and a wide variety of fruits and vegetables to purchase.
