Immaculate, spacious, updated 1950's bungalow with country charm, nestled in the pines of the Northern Neck of VA. Large fishing pond on site. 2 miles from Rappahannock shore & near the town of Kilmarnock. Explore local marinas for swimming in a pool, Belle Isle Park for boating, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Local restaurants for fresh seafood and Farmer's Market weekends in Tappahannock. History buffs will love Fredericksburg, Colonial Williamsburg, Bush Gardens, and Water World for the kids.
The Space
Two bedrooms downstairs with a full bathroom including bathtub/shower and two bedrooms upstairs with a full bath including shower. Large, fully equipped kitchen with gas stove. Living room with gas fireplace, reclining sofa & loveseat, and TV with Roku. Ample backyard space for grilling and games. Relax and watch the wildlife meander on the air-conditioned sun porch. One quarter-mile entry lane is great for morning and evening walks and biking on the property.
Guest Access
House is located on acreage with free parking on site. Transportation around the area is by private vehicle. Parking is easy in surrounding towns.
Other Things to Note
Large grill with infrared, rotisserie, and in-line gas hook-up on the premises. Designated wooded path with picnic tables to the fishing pond. No limit on the number of fish caught. Bring your own fishing poles. Swimming is not recommended. Use of fishing pond is at your own risk and the owner is not responsible for guest use or misuse of the pond. Thanks!
Located in Farnham, this vacation home is in a rural area and on a river. Coan River Marina and Good Luck Cellars are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Kinsale Museum and Compass Entertainment Complex. Steamboat Era Museum and Reedville Fishermen's Museum are also worth visiting. Kayaking and water skiing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and cycling nearby.
