The South Fork Bungalow is a comfortable, cozy and modern 2 bed 1 bath bungalow in a newly remodeled duplex. We are centrally located in Eureka on a quiet and peaceful property, within 10 minutes drive to most Eureka locations! Enter the home to the open living room with a smart TV, L shaped couch and partitioned work space/ mini bar area. The kitchen is bright and open with plenty of counter space and fully equipped with electric stove/oven, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, instant pot, blender and cookware. The dining table faces the backyard patio and has standard seating for 4 with extra chairs for 6. Each bedroom has a queen bed and large closet and shares the bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The washing machine and dryer are located inside the unit with shelving and some extra pantry and storage space. Outside there is a fenced backyard patio and grassy lawn and garden space in the front yard.

The home is located in a residential neighborhood steps away from a park with large grassy field, playgrounds and a convenience store. Our central location is within 10 minutes of most places in Eureka, from Sequoia Park & the Zoo, Henderson Center shops and restaurants, Old Town Eureka and the Marina. Cross over the Samoa bridge to the Samoa Dunes recreation area for a hike in the Ma-le'l Dunes or a drink and oysters at the Humboldt Bay Social Club. We are just 15 minutes to Arcata and Cal Poly Humboldt, 30 minutes to Trinidad, Sue Meg State Park and Moonstone Beach, and an hour from Redwoods National and State Park.

Located in Eureka, this vacation home is in the city center. Carson Mansion and Clarke Historical Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Sequoia Park Zoo and Sequoia Park Garden. Humboldt Bay Maritime Museum and Humboldt State University Natural History Museum are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
