Little Glen Cottage is a charming 3 bed, 2 bath cottage right on Glen Lake. It's less than a 10 minute drive to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (National Park) and the town of Glen Arbor. Swim in the lake, take a walk on the nearby hiking trails, or explore the acclaimed boutiques and restaurants of the town. Large Hot Tub with Bluetooth open year-round, Fire Pit; all the UpNorth things. We also manage Dune View Cottage next door. Please inquire about renting both!

This lakefront home is 1,965 square feet in size.
Main level:
Open floor plan with kitchen, dining area, living room with wood -burning fireplace and large windows facing the lake.
Family room with TV, Bedroom with King bed, Full Bathroom, Laundry Room
2nd Floor:
Two Bedrooms, both with 2 Queen beds, Full Bathroom

There are 2 kayaks available for guests to use, as well as lifejackets. Hot tub is open year round!

*All waterfront amenities are available from Memorial to Labor Day*

This property is outfitted with a back-up generator in case of power outages. Even for the hot tub. Just saying.

Guest Access:
Wintertime Guests: Welcome to northern Michigan, where our wintertime weather can swing from glorious to ferocious in a flash. Each of our properties has snow removal service scheduled to plow with each snowfall amounting to at least 3 inches of snow. If the vehicle you bring is not 4-Wheel or All-Wheel Drive, please be aware of the potential risks accessing the property when snow is present.

Please Note: All guests staying at this property must be 25 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. This will be verified after booking confirmation.

A damage waiver fee is required by Golden Swan for each stay. For this property, the fee is $79 and provides our guests with accidental damage coverage up to $1000. If the amount of damage exceeds this, or if the damage is found to have occurred with malicious intent, Golden Swan retains the right to seek damages beyond that amount.

High chair and pack n play available upon request for an additional fee.

Dogs are allowed with an additional fee, with a maximum of 2 dogs. Please be advised that it is absolutely imperative for all renters to keep their dogs on a leash at all times. While we truly appreciate and value pets, ensuring that our furry friends are leashed or properly secured is of utmost importance to us. Please take your pup with you or kennel them when you leave the home. We cannot have lonely barking dogs left at our property. Please be considerate and clean up after your pet.

There is a non-refundable credit card processing fee applied to all reservations.

If the reservation is 14 days or longer there will be a required mid-stay clean. This is also available upon request for a shorter length of stay.

DOCK: The dock is available for use with guests' rental boats for 15 minute loading and unloading passengers, and a mooring ball just beyond it is available for mooring between boat rides. Winds and waves pick up super-quick and can cause damage to boats and docks. There are no protective dock bumpers to prevent potential boat-docking issues.

Located in Empire, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Lake Michigan. Swimming offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking and cycling nearby.
