Beautiful, large and comfortable Cape farmhouse on 8.8 acres in exclusive Edgartown location on the Great Pond. The large tract of land surrounding the house with acres of lawns assures privacy and quiet for vacationing families. The main level of the 3,720 sf farmhouse has an open plan kitchen with lots of elbowroom for the enthusiastic cook. The kitchen connects to a spacious dining area with wide-board pine floors. The living room has a cozy wood-burning fireplace and an adjoining den/study that can be closed off with sliding pocket doors. The large master bedroom suite on the main floor has vaulted wood ceiling, pine floors, wood-burning fireplace, walk-in closet and a large private bath. The second story has 4 large bedrooms, (3 with a king bed and 1 with 2 twin beds) and two bathrooms. On the main floor, there is an additional bedroom/play room with 2 twin beds. The basement has an additional bathroom with shower, pool table, air hockey, foosball, ping pong, PS3, PS4, TV , exercise bike and an elliptical machine. Rental includes use of beach chairs and umbrellas, tennis rackets, etc.
Located in Edgartown, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Oak Bluffs Harbor and Woods Hole Ferry Terminal are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Inkwell Beach. Traveling with kids? Consider The Grey Barn and Farm and Polly Hill Arboretum.
