Custom, completely renovated 4-bedroom home for rent next to Wasque Reservation on Chappaquiddick Island. Reverse-contemporary octagonal home features sweeping Atlantic Ocean, Katama Bay and Wasque Reservation views from the second floor featuring large wrap-around deck and spectacular west-facing sunsets over Katama Bay and South Beach. Sunlight pours through wrap-around sliders and oversized windows to bring the outside in. Newly added hot tub for relaxation. Katama Bay is short 500 feet walk to the end of road for swimming, clamming, fishing and boating, and the entry to Wasque Reservation is at the top of road, known for it's extensive network of nature trails, bird watching, fishing and beach-going.
The second floor of home features large open concept living area with custom vaulted ceilings, dining area, spacious living room area including 42 inch flatscreen TV and gas fireplace. Newly renovated kitchen and ½ bathroom including granite countertops, customer cabinetry and tile work and upgraded appliances and fixtures. Fourth bedroom den on second floor a great playroom/extra room for kids or guests with two twin beds. Entry way to the home features custom wrap around staircase with second floor landing and seating area for reading, relaxing and enjoying water views. Home features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the first floor. Master bedroom features king bed and 32 inch flat screen TV. Master bedroom en suite bathroom features oversized shower with custom tiling and walk out to master bedroom deck and outdoor custom private cedar shower. Second bedroom features king bed with walk out deck and adjacent full bathroom, featuring custom glass shower/tub. Third downstairs bedroom features two twin beds. Comfortable and functional furnishings throughout. Fenced in front yard. Newly added hot tub. Heat and air conditioning is climate-controlled by room for individual's personal comfort. WiFi and Hulu TV for everyday living needs.
Beautiful setting is peaceful and quiet, yet only 10 minute drive to Chappaquiddick ferry to downtown Edgartown's restaurants and shops. This beautiful home is your quintessential Martha's Vineyard vacation and a peaceful oasis year-round, summer and winter alike.
Chappy ferry runs continuously from 6:30 am - 12:00 am from May - October, and makes it’s last run at 11:15 pm from October - May. Reservations are not needed. Chappy is residential only and a car is highly recommended.
