Casa del Quinde is a family based boutique natural lodge full of gardens and green spaces. It has been built on the side of a hill full of hummingbirds and several species of song birds that frequently visit the roses, the orchids and fountain in our gardens.
A beautiful pond with turtles, and fish provide a beautiful green space to read and relax.
Either if you want to stay at one of our mini suites for a couple of days or a couple of months, you will feel at home at our place.
The space
Our gardens, nature areas, pond, fountain make this nature log a true gem. Outside Dinning and hangout areas are available throughout the property.
It is a place that will take your breath away.
A small hand craft and artisan goods store is located on the premises

Guests have a short 1/4 mile hike in the property that they can walk offering safe nature areas, exercise space and breathtaking views.

Other things to note
Casa del Quinde is located 5 minutes bus ride from Universidad San Francisco. The bus stop is outside the house and the cost is only $.25c each way the the University. We usually have professors or other students staying with us for the convenience of the location and still have the nature experience.
Located in Itchimbia, a neighborhood in Quito, this vacation home is in a rural area and in the mountains. Quicentro Shopping and Quicentro Sur Mall are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Parque La Carolina. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at General Rumiñahui Coliseum or Liga Deportiva Universitaria Stadium. Take time off to check out the health/beauty spa in the area, or get some fresh air with adventures like mountain biking, hiking, and horse riding nearby.
