Alaska Native Heritage Center and Knik Museum and Musher's Hall of Fame are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church and Eklutna Historical Park. Kayaking and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and mountain climbing nearby.
