Modeled after the old gold and silver mines in the area, our 3,300 square foot, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath, custom built home is situated above Little Cascade creek on 2 secluded acres.

Only 2 miles from Purgatory Ski Resort and 24 miles from historic downtown Durango, yet the 'Creek House' offers privacy and seclusion and has been outfitted to be the ultimate vacation rental - private Hot Tub, Sauna, pool table, outdoor gas fire pit, 3 decks with great views, gas fire pit on the main deck, 2 separate living spaces, BBQ grill, games and of course the relaxing sounds of the creek, which brings back guests year after year. The home features Starlink WIFI with average internet speeds over 100mbs which makes watch your favorite streaming services on multiple devices no problem (we finally cut the cable).

The luxurious home is furnished with rustic, high quality furnishings, historic mining and western photos and features TVs in the Main Living space (60') and the 2nd living space (42') and three of the bedrooms (42').

In addition, there is a kids playroom as well as a high chair, stair gates, plastic dishes, kids books and toys.

Bed Configuration:
Master Bedroom - King Bed with TV and Ensuite Bath (3rd Floor)
2nd Bedroom - King Bed with TV (3rd Floor)
3rd Bedroom- King Bed and TV (Bottom Floor - along with pool table, hot tub and sauna)
4th - Queen and 2 sets of bunk beds (twin over twin) - (4th floor)

This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (max $250 per stay).

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
