We've designed our space to be a retreat of sorts, encouraging guests to create, draw, write, read, play games, and enjoy each other's company. For guests needing to work from the road, we offer high-speed Wifi (~300 Mbps) as well.

Guests can reach out to us at any time to let us know what they need to make their stay as comfortable as possible. Please message us through the app (not via call/text) to ensure the fastest response as we do co-host and take turns messaging.

A car is recommended for your stay as rideshares are hit or miss in Durango. The condo is located close (5 min drive) to downtown Durango & Fort Lewis College. Purgatory is outside of town and about 35 minutes from the condo.

Please note that this unit has no central air conditioning/heating. There are baseboard heaters, ceiling fans, a window A/C in the bedroom and living room (estimated June-September; please confirm before booking), and a tower fan. Pets are not allowed in the unit due to complex rules.

We regret that we cannot typically honor early check-in or late check-out requests due to same day checkouts or checkins. To ensure availability, please consider booking the night before or after your stay to allow you more time to relax before or after your flight.

We have recently replaced the dining table and chairs. The dining furniture may be different than pictured (but will be brand new!), and we will do our best to update the photos as soon as possible.

For stays longer than one week, toilet paper, shower supplies, and other "consumables" will be provided as a starter supply but will not be restocked during your stay.

Guests will share community amenities (pool, hot tub, sauna) and the HOA maintains hours, availability, and maintenance of these. The pool is open from May to September. The hot tub is typically available year-round, but there is scheduled maintenance planned, though exact dates are not confirmed. If using the hot tub is important to you during your stay between October and May, please check with us for availability.

Rental agreement must be signed and photo of renter's valid driver's license must be shared (due to an insurance requirement) via verification software before access is provided. The credit card used for booking will be used to authorize a damage deposit 24 hours before check-in. We do not accept third-party bookings (bookings made for someone else). Please note that, for security purposes, there is a motion-activated video doorbell on our front door that records audio and video.

No Smoking or Vaping Indoors
This is a 100% smoke- and vape-free home. We use a privacy-safe air quality monitor that detects tobacco, cannabis, and vape particles. Violations will result in a minimum $250 cleaning fee and may lead to immediate removal from the property.

Noise and Occupancy Monitoring
The property is equipped with a smart device that also monitors noise levels and occupancy (via motion and environmental sensors) to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests and neighbors. It does not record audio or video.

No Unauthorized Guests
The home has a strict occupancy limit. If the number of guests exceeds what was declared in your reservation, your stay may be terminated without refund.

Chapman Hill Ice Rink and Ski Area and Hillcrest Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad and Durango Discovery Museum. Historic Tram Park and James Ranch are also worth visiting.
