Located just 15 minutes from downtown Duluth, 18 minutes from Two Harbors, and a short walk to Lake Superior access, Wildernest is perfect for romantic getaways or authentic North Shore escapes.

Each Wildernest Cabin is a beautifully appointed studio retreat with a private bathroom and barrel sauna, set within the North Shore woods along the iconic Scenic 61. Arranged around a gentle loop road encircling a shared pavilion, all six cabins offer:

Your personal code will activate at your scheduled check-in time, remain valid throughout your stay, and automatically expire soon after checkout, giving you seamless, 24/7 access. Our grounds and cabin exteriors are monitored with active recording to ensure peace of mind.

Pets
To protect the cabins, landscaping, and local wildlife, no pets are permitted on the property.

Children
Wildernest Cabins is designed as an adult retreat with a maximum occupancy of two guests per cabin, regardless of age. While children are welcome, our property does feature several safety concerns for children including exposed sauna heaters, hot fireplaces, an open fire pit, and location on Highway 61. We do not provide specialized children's items such as cribs or highchairs.

2-Night Minimum
All cabin reservations require a two-night minimum stay. This gives you time to truly unwind and experience the North Shore — whether that's a morning sauna, a sunset hike, or simply slowing down to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
