Get away with the whole family to relax at our peaceful cabin village! Our rustic (no electricity) cabins are full of charm and memories are made here.
Beach access is available and parking is outside your cabin. You can fish and walk the many trails or swim in the lake.
We are only minutes from Lake Michigan, the Grapes and GrainsTour, 35+ wineries & breweries and more. Sister Lakes and Dowagiac restaurants are close and have great offerings. Or you can make dinner over your campfire while enjoying nature.
Rules for your stay at The Sanctuary Cabins
- Park in designated Cabin 1 parking only.
- No loud music after 10pm and please avoid being rowdy as to avoid disrupting other guests.
- Bedding is not provided, please bring your own. - 1 roll of paper towel in each bathroom and 1 roll of toilet paper in each stall are provided.
- Smoking and vaping is allowed outside only.
- No campfires except in the firepit provided at your accommodations.
-No glass outdoors or near the beach.
- No Recreational Vehicles or ATV’s.
- Fishing is allowed; pan fish, carp, or catfish may be kept; any bass or pike under 6 pounds must be released.
-For walking; stay on trails or roads except for those marked no trespassing.
Sanctuary at The Barn is not responsible or liable for accidents or injury.
-Children must be supervised at all times while outdoors.
-If you go exploring please do not enter other buildings.
-Do not drive on roads except from the entrance to your accommodations. No off-roading. Bicycles are okay.
At the Beach:
-No lifeguard on duty so swim at your own risk.
- Children should be supervised at all times.
- NO diving!
-Sanctuary at The Barn is not responsible or liable for accident or injury while swimming or beach use.
- No motorized watercraft.
- Appropriate life vests must be worn by all participants of any non-motorized watercraft (kayak’s, canoe’s, paddle boards).

Eau Claire is home to this vacation home. Dowagiac Area History Museum and Beckwith Theatre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Karma Vista Vineyards and Winery and Contessa Wine Cellars. Surfari Joe's Indoor Wilderness Water Park and Free Run Cellars are also worth visiting.
