Bush Lodge is for groups who want a real mountain lodge: boots by the door, firewood stacked, big days outside, and everyone back at the same table. This classic alpine ski house at the top of Tamarack Resort, surrounded by forest and big views, was built for groups: a large chef’s kitchen, a long dining table for 12, a wraparound deck with hot tub and dual-sided fireplace, and a private apartment over the garage so everyone can stay on the same property with enough space to spread out.
Tamarack Resort is a four-season destination 90 miles north of Boise; it's the perfect basecamp for your west central Idaho adventures, located between the recreation opportunities in Cascade and McCall or those further afield. Nestled on 3,500 acres with 2,800 feet of vertical and adjacent to Lake Cascade, it offers year-round recreation, including some of the best skiing and snowboarding in Idaho, Nordic and snowshoe trails, hiking, downhill and cross country mountain biking, zipline tours, whitewater rafting, and motorized and non-motorized water sports. Tamarack also offers a host of on-site dining and leisure activities, to include a spa, pickleball courts, and disc golf course. Be sure to check their schedule for hosted events and activities.

You'll have the entire main home and apartment to yourself. The main house offers a fully-equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, private keyless entry, in-unit washer and dryer, large outdoor deck, + private hot tub. The apartment offers a kitchen, 1 bedroom, and 1 bathroom.

*If you're flying into Boise International Airport, we recommend renting a vehicle directly from the airport.

*It's possible to get an Uber from Boise/BOI to Tamarack Resort, although it's not necessarily a reliable mode of travel; depending on your arrival time and season, you may have difficulty finding a driver who will accept your ride. Uber is not currently accepting advance reservations for trips to Tamarack Resort from Boise; on-demand rides will be your only option.

Our summer is short, so construction season is fast and busy (June–September). We always try to note known projects, but we don’t always get a heads‑up about neighbors. We can’t control or refund for outside noise, but we’re always here to help brainstorm solutions if something comes up.

To keep things fair and consistent for all guests, we follow the cancellation terms agreed to at the time of booking and are not able to make exceptions (including for but not limited to event cancellations, illness, surgery, weather, changes in travel plans, etc.). For added peace of mind, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to help protect your trip against unexpected situations. Any refunds issued will be minus credit card processing fees.

Located in Donnelly, this vacation home is in the mountains and on a lake. Old General Store & Museum and Central Idaho Historical Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Tamarack Ski Resort and Gold Fork Hot Springs. Kelly's Whitewater Park and Activity Barn are also worth visiting. Break out the clubs and hit the links with a golf course nearby, or seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and cycling.
