2 Br Condo Vacation Rental In Destin, Florida

THE PERFECT VIEW

This condo has one of the best Gulf/Beach views on the Destin coast, or on any coast. Watching schools of fish and porpoises swim by is a common daily event, it is amazing! Also, I noticed how difficult it was to find a 2 bedroom Corner Apartment for rent at Holiday Surf & Racquet Club during the summer season (other seasons as well). Only Corner Units do not have "View Limiting Walls" towards the beach nor do Corner Units have connected balconies to neighbors - balconies are totally private - and the view is a double wide one. Unit #601R is on the 6th floor and located practically right over the beach. Some of these corner units have only 1 bedroom, some are not high enough to enjoy this spectacular view and some are not up for rent. There are a set of stairs right outside the condo for quick access to the beach, tennis courts or swimming pool (although it is the 6th floor). You can also access the elevators in the center of the complex. Staying on the 6th floor assures the optimum height for the perfect overview of all the beach, fishing boats, party boats and parasailing.
A complimentary setup of two beach chairs and one umbrella is included from the start of March till the end of October. Additional setups can be rented from the on-site attendant. Beach service of any kind is not available from Nov. 1st to March 1st.

INSIDE THE CONDO
The kitchen has a large quartzite stone countertop (cleaner than Granite) with barstools on the dining room side, with built-in Microwave and Dishwasher. The dining room has a large 6 seat refinished Ashley tile-top table. The previous mirror glass upper wall was showing it's age and has been removed and the walls repainted. The framed mirrors over the sofa reflect the beautiful beach and sea view from different parts of the condo.
This unit has newly painted walls throughout the apartment and all of the pre-existing furniture was replaced. Three flat screen TVs are wall-mounted. A 55” HDTV is installed on the living room wall with all the channels including sports and movie channels. The master bedroom has a wall mounted 42” HDTV and the second bedroom has a wall mounted 32” HDTV which includes a DVD unit for watching movies. High Speed WiFi is provided by the complex and included (receive password at check-in).
All floors are tile with new Living room and Dining room designer rugs. The living room has a leather couch and a matching reclinable arm chair.
The kitchen is fully equipped with two types of coffee makers, a drip style percolator and a Keurig K cup style as well as a new 4 slice toaster & a blender. Three bar style chairs line up outside the stone kitchen counter. There is no washer and dryer inside the condo itself like most of the units in the complex. However, there is a laundromat on the same floor as the condo (6th) located at the center of the complex next to the elevator.
The Master Bedroom has a private bathroom & is very roomy with direct access to the balcony and a window with a lovely view. The king bed and firm pillow top mattress are very high quality and very comfortable. All bedding in the condo is high quality and was part of the recent renovation. The Second bedroom has 1 queen and 1 single/twin bed.

Amenities include tennis courts, an outdoor shuffleboard court, and a full gym available year-round. The beach access over the dunes as well as every other area of the complex is fully handicap accessible.

Lastly, there is a small storage closet just outside of the front door where guests can store outdoor beach items. Previous guests often leave outdoor beach items inside. However, we have no way of keeping track of the items that are inside and we will not be able to check for any particular inventory if requested to do so.

Located in Holiday Isle, a neighborhood in Destin, this condo is near a water park and on the beach. HarborWalk Village and Destin Commons are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Destin Beaches and Henderson Beach State Park. Big Kahuna's Water and Adventure Park and The Track Family Recreation Center are also worth visiting.
