Did you catch that this house is next to Canaan Valley Ski resort?? Just in case you missed what sets us apart from most of the other options out there, you will have luxury accommodations only a 3 -7 minute drive to both ski resorts! Get the best of both worlds by staying right in-between the 2 resorts. In the summer you can pay a small fee to swim or golf at Canaan Valley Resort too!

Bedroom #1 - Primary Bed Room: King bed (on main level) w/ en-suite full bathroom (walk-in shower)

Bedroom #4 - 2 sets of twin bunks (upstairs)

Bedroom #5: 1 sets of twin over twin bunks, 1 twin with twin trundle (downstairs/ basement)

Bedroom #6: King room (downstairs/ basement)

Bedroom #7: King room with French doors to outside patio (downstairs/ basement)

All linens/bath towels are provided. Beds will be made up prior to your arrival. We provide a starter kit of household goods. If you are staying more than a couple of days you might need to purchase more.

The house is located just south of the town of Davis and is a short 10-12 minute drive to the store and restaurants there. It is also only a few minutes further to the town of Thomas, which also has good restaurants and shopping. There are a couple of restaurants and stores as well as a gas station within 5 minutes of the house. The groceries there are expensive, but nice in a bind if you just need 1-2 things!

**FOUR WHEEL DRIVE OR ALL WHEEL DRIVE NECESSARY FOR WINTER. WE ARE RIGHT IN THE VALLEY WHERE TONS OF SNOW & WIND COME THROUGH, MAKING FOR SNOWY & ICY ROAD CONDITIONS!! (and great skiing conditions thankfully!)** Please do not book and then realize you can't make it to the house. There is a hill into our neighborhood. Please don't think you can and try it out to only slide down the hill. (personal experience!)

Absolutely no parties! All guests must be 23+ with the exception of children with their parent/ guardian. 19 person max overnight in the house. Throwing a party or exceeding the maximum permitted occupancy (without express permission) will result in the loss of your deposit. You may also be asked to leave without refund.

HOT TUB RULES: To keep the hot tub in great shape for everyone, there will be a $200 fee for improper use of the hot tub or if it needs to be drained after your stay. Please rinse feet with nearby hose before entering the hot tub! Children under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Kids under the age of 5 should not be in hot tubs because of the temperature. No dirt, grass or any other substances in the hot tub, i.e. no bubbles, oils, soaps, etc. Clothing is not optional - swimwear must be worn. No horseplay or inappropriate behavior, no glassware, no smoking, no splashing, no diving. Do not sit on the cover of hot tub. If cover is broken you will be charged $600 for a replacement cover.

To keep the house in good shape and odor free for everyone, there is absolutely NO smoking ANY substances in the house. Absolutely no fires, including candles inside the house. Unauthorized smoking or fires will be charged the full deposit hold amount plus damages and extra cleaning fees of at least $500 - including but not limited to smoke damage or odors.

We do not allow pets of any kind. You will be charged $500 plus extra cleaning fees if you bring a pet. This is for the benefit of all guests so that anyone with animal allergies can be confident they will be safe and comfortable staying in the house.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement and provide a copy of your ID after booking. It is the booking guest's responsibility to get all other guests to read and agree to follow the rules of the rental agreement.

*No guaranteed refunds for weather/ natural disasters/ power outages/ noise/ other things that are beyond our control.* Therefore, it is highly recommended that you purchase an inexpensive travel insurance policy.* This gives you peace of mind in the event you have unforeseen circumstances that require you to cancel outside of the refund window on our cancellation policy. Please review, we have our policy set to "strict."

Notice of Cameras: There is 1 exterior security camera facing the driveway. It is motion-sensored and on 24/7, recording video and sound when triggered by motion. Neither the house interior nor the exterior living spaces are visible to the camera. If you interfere with the camera, you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund.

A security deposit **HOLD** of $1000 will be placed on the credit card you use to make the reservation 2 days prior to your reservation date. This is NOT a charge, just a HOLD. It will be released after we have had a chance to inspect the property or within 7 days after your reservation ends, minus any damages found and discussed with you.

Located in Davis, this vacation home is in a rural area and in the mountains. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Canaan Valley Resort State Park and Little Canaan Wildlife Management Area, while Buxton & Landstreet Gallery and Studios and The White Room Art Gallery are cultural highlights. Enjoy the area's slopes with cross-country skiing, snowboarding, and skiing, and don't miss out on the sledding.
