Our home is our escape from the hustle and bustle of all the stresses life brings. We hope to share this with you and your family so you too can create lasting memories together. Enjoy all seasons here. Sand in the summer, fishing at the river/lake, hike the nearby trails or play board games while overlooking the beautiful views.
LOCATION
Located 1 hour outside of Spokane or Ritzville, WA you will find this hidden community, Moccasin Bay, located at the intersection of Lake Roosevelt and the Little Spokane River. Just a short walk from the beach with a changing landscape throughout the year.
June through August all water activities are in full force. Use the Kayak and paddle boards at the house and get out in the sun. Or let the kids play in the sand and explore.
All other months the water is lowered (down to a river in February-April). This leads to very good fishing and exploration.
THERE IS NO BOAT LAUNCH OR DOCKS.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Enjoy the two large decks to relax and hang out on. One is covered with bench seating for the kids. The other is open with a glider to relax as you enjoy the water view. There is a full kitchen filled with cookware and basic pantry items. As well as enough seating for 9 between the table and island bar. There is 1 shared bathroom with the sink outside the toilet and shower space so multiple people can get ready at once.
There is one bedroom upstairs with 2 double beds laid out like a hotel room. In the living room is a queen size Murphy bed and blackout curtains to create a semi-private sleeping area in the evening. There is also a futon couch where a child or single adult can find their own sleeping space. Able to comfortably sleep 6.
Other things to note:
- There is about 10 miles of dirt road to access the property. Don’t worry the road is well maintained and traveled.
- Davenport is 25 mins down the road and has an amazing BBQ restaurant and grocery store if you forget something.
- One of the bedrooms is upstairs, so if you have mobility issues this is probably not the house for you.
- There is another residence downstairs, please be respectful of their space.
- There is a large driveway to park multiple cars. Please try to double park so the other residents have a place to pull in.
- If you are highly allergic to dogs this may not be a good fit as there are two resident dogs downstairs that frequent the property.
- There is also a community cat. He does not come into the space but will often frequent your deck.
Located in Davenport, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the waterfront. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area and Davenport Sports Complex.
