Survivor is a quiet, family-friendly waterfront vacation home located on beautiful Dauphin Island. Perfect for large families and group getaways, this spacious home offers the rare advantage of calm bay waters directly behind the house and the Gulf of America just a short walk across the street.
With five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and almost 3,000 square feet of living space, Survivor comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests. The home is ideal for multi-family vacations, extended family trips, or anyone looking for space to relax while enjoying the natural beauty of the Island.
The property sits directly on the Mississippi Sound, where guests can step off the back deck onto a wide, sandy bayfront beach. The shallow, calm waters are perfect for swimming, floating, and relaxing, especially for families with children. There are no strong waves or rip currents on the bay side, making it a favorite spot for many guests. Guests may also beach a small boat or jet ski directly behind the home. For those seeking more active water, the Gulf of America is just across the street and offers opportunities for boogie boarding, skim boarding, and body surfing.
Inside, the home features a large open living area with 12-foot ceilings, abundant seating, and beautiful sunset views. The living room includes a large smart TV and a gas fireplace, creating a comfortable gathering space for relaxing or entertaining. The dining area includes a custom-built table that seats ten, along with additional bar seating for four, making meals together easy and enjoyable.
The fully equipped kitchen is a guest favorite and includes a flat-top stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster, and a full selection of cookware, dishes, and utensils. A walk-in pantry provides ample storage for groceries and beach snacks!
All five bedrooms are spacious and designed for comfort. Upstairs bedrooms feature deluxe bedding, smart TVs, large walk-in closets, and enough space to accommodate air mattresses or cots if needed. Two of the bedrooms serve as primary suites and offer private access to the upper deck, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening sunsets. Jack-and-Jill bathrooms connect the upstairs bedrooms, with one bathroom featuring an indoor Jacuzzi tub.
One of Survivor’s standout features is the extensive outdoor living space. Over 2,000 square feet of deck space wraps the back of the home, offering both shaded and sun-filled areas. Guests can relax, dine outdoors, grill, or take in the stunning bay views and sunsets. The decks are furnished with lounge chairs, an outdoor dining table, and both charcoal and gas grills.
The downstairs area provides additional convenience with a storage room for beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, and coolers, as well as an ice machine! HUGE plus for guests! An outdoor shower is located beneath the house for rinsing off after beach days! Guests will also enjoy the wooden swing, and covered parking beneath the home.
