Home has a great backyard, with beautiful HEATED pool, and gas fire pit, a true piece of paradise. Start your day with a dip in the private pool, surrounded by the serene landscape of palm trees. Enjoy Florida sunshine and a cup of coffee or sip on freshly squeezed orange juice from the lounge chairs near the pool. Fire up the gas grill or cook your meal in the fully equipped kitchen, offering all the essential cooking utensils you will need to gratify your taste. Enjoy your meal in the pool-side outdoor living space or beautiful dining room. Kick back in the swing shadowed by the palm trees or enjoy your late cup or glass of wine near the fire pit for the ultimate leisure experience.

Ready for an adventure, or just feeling energetic? Our guests can enjoy many outdoor activities using the equipment provided by your host. Enjoy the short 5-10 min bike ride to the beaches (2 folding bikes waiting for you, also 2 more bikes for our guests on request). Or have a great water experience with two inflatable double kayaks. Guests can choose from a few kayak trails, all 5-10 minutes ride from home. Also poles are furnished for fishing on Intercostal or Dania Beach Pier. Or maybe you just want to look at fish, we provide snorkel gear , and a beautiful reef off Dania Beach . Finally, you can stroll the beach for shells, or find some pirates treasure with the help of the treasure search metal detector. Your fortune awaits.

DANIA BEACH
With its award-winning "Blue Wave Beaches," nature activities and proximity to Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood, Dania Beach is an appealing vacation spot. It's afor lso the home of the world-famous Dania Beach Casino and Jai Alai. Plenty of restaurants, wine bars, dessert shops, antique stores, parks, shopping promenades including newly built Dania Point are within a couple of miles radius. Fishing Pier, Fort Lauderdale Airport, Everglades Cruise Port, Hollywood downtown and beaches, fishing charters, nature trails, all is near you.

HOLLYWOOD BEACH
Hollywood Beach, ranked by Fodor's as one of the top beaches in Florida, is only minutes away and has a terrific 2 1/2 mile long boardwalk for walking and biking. In addition to its incredible sandy beaches, our famous Boardwalk offers oceanfront restaurants, bars, shops and live music. Also in Hollywood Beach is the famous Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville hotel, Le Tub, a waterfront cash-only burger joint that GQ Magazine and Oprah Winfrey both declared has the best hamburger in the entire United States.

NATURE PARKS, BIKE AND WALKING TRAILS NEARBY

There is plenty of nature parks, bike and walking trails, fishing places just in short bike or car ride:

The Anne Kolb Nature Center at West Lake Park's 1,500+ acres of coastal mangrove wetlands -- one of the largest urban parks in Florida -- is rich in native vegetation and wildlife, including many threatened and endangered species. Situated on about 20 acres along the Intracoastal Waterway, Anne Kolb Nature Center includes an exhibit hall with simulated mangroves, a 3,500-gallon aquarium, and a hands-on EcoRoom; an outdoor amphitheater; a 68-foot observation tower; an Intracoastal fishing pier; and nature, biking, and boating trails.

West Lake Park is occupying a three-mile strip of mangrove estuary and uplands immediately west of the Intracoastal Waterway within the cities of Hollywood and Dania Beach. Picnic shelters, playgrounds, fishing platform, boat dock, walking paths, tennis courts, basketball courts, racquetball courts, sand volleyball courts, canoe and kayak rentals.

One of the favorite bike rides around Dania Beach is to ride to the fishing pier. And that's a good ride. But a well-kept secret is that if you keep riding north along US Highway A1A, you come to an amazing park that extends all the way to the long fishing jetty at the entrance to the Ft. Lauderdale Harbor. Within the park you find miles of undeveloped beach, a kayak rental shop, and environmental center, and trails along the Intercoastal Waterway with amazing views of Port Everglades and the giant freighters and cruise ships. If you stand on the jetty at 5, you can watch the world's largest cruise ship sail by co close you can almost touch it. There are all sorts of amenities scattered throughout the park -- bathrooms, picnic pavilions, free WiFi, just to name a few.

Topeekeegee Yugnee Park The Seminole Indian name of this 138.6-acre urban park, Topeekeegee Yugnee, means "meeting or gathering place," appropriate for a park known for its shady picnic areas. T.Y. Park is home to Castaway Island water park, 13 picnic shelters, an abundance of open picnic areas, and a large, open field suitable for a variety of family activities. Especially popular with our health-conscious patrons is the two-mile loop of paved pathways for walking, jogging, skating, and biking. Other popular areas within the park are the large shaded playground, basketball and tennis courts, the fishing pier, and the scenic lake water fountain.
If you want to go fishing withul license, you can do it at Dania Beach Pier, if you prefer Intercoastal or lakes fishing you will need a licence, you can get in Bass Pro Shop nearby.
